About Us

Gymnastics classes are held at Gladesville RSL Youth Club – Warehouse 1, Building A, 436-484 Victoria Rd (Corner Tennyson Rd), Gladesville (Opposite Car Wash). Click here for a map and drop off instructions.

Women’s Gymnastics

The Women’s Gymnastics program provides coaching to gymnasts in Levels 1-9. WG is composed of four apparatus – Uneven Bars, Floor, Beam & Vault. Gladesville RSL Gymnastics has enjoyed considerable success over the past 20 years having represented and won at both State and National titles. Acrobatic Gymnastics

Gladesville RSL Gymnastics is regarded as the most successful Arobatic Gymnastics Club in Australia, having produced numerous National & State Champion teams and State Champions. Acrobatic Gymnastics is a beautiful, dynamic and spectacular sport for both men and women. The sport develops courage, strength, stamina, co-ordination, flexibility, jumping abilities, adroitness etc. Sports acrobatics unites its power and poise, with grace and beauty to create an intriguing sport. Kindergym Gymnastics

Kindergym caters for pre-school children from the ages of 1-5 years. The program is designed to assist with the development of gross motor skills, balance and coordination, basic gymnastics skills, social skills & participation in group activities. Note: Kindergym classes run for 45 minutes followed by 15 minutes of free play if parents wish to continue.

The Monday and Thursday 10:00am siblings classes welcomes Kindergym children from 18months to 5 ½ years. These classes are specifically designed to cater for siblings who wish to be in the same class.

Recreation Gymnastics

Recreation is all about teaching children the fundamental movement skills. Designed to give children the opportunity to practice, develop and enjoy moving through a wide-range of activities, recreation programs will help them develop physically, socially and cognitively. Recreation programs rely on safe and enjoyable activities that challenge participates relative to their abilities and stage of development. Senior Recreation

This class is for children aged 10 and over. They will learn Acrobatics, Men’s Gymnastics and Women’s Gymnastics supplemented by training on the floor, pommel horse, rings, vault, parallel bars, horizontal bar, uneven bars, balance beam, trampoline, handstand bars, dance, streth and flexibility to help each gymnast develop a well-rounded base for the sport. 2020 Fees

Term Fees

The hourly fee for gymnastics classes is $15.50 per hour (inc gst). Classes run parallel to the school term but are not conducted on public holidays.

For the benefit of students who attend multiple classes or classes of longer duration, discounts are applied per student based on the number of hours trained during the term. Please note this discount is applied based on the number of hours at the time of enrolment, if you enrol after the term has commenced you will not receive the full discount. These discounts are as follows:

Additional charges include a $15 (inc) annual RSL Youth Club membership fee.

Enrolments for classes are through the parent portal (app.iclasspro.com/parentportal/gladesvillersl) and must be completed prior to the start of term. On creating an account you will be able to view and accept our Youth Club policies which covers areas such as missed classes, refunds and membership requirements.

Gymnastics NSW Registration

All gymnastics students are registered with Gymnastics NSW. For 2020 the fee is $66 (inc gst) for recreational gymnasts and $121 (inc gst) for competitive gymnasts, with a 10% discount offered if the fee is paid within 30 days of being applied to your account.

This calendar year registration fee covers personal insurance while participating in gymnastics. Participants may also receive access to exclusive offers, competitions and events. Competition Levy

Students in competitive programs who enter a competition will be charged the relevant entry price for the competition plus a $42 (inc gst) per day levy. The levy will be charged for each day of the competition as well as travel days as a contribution to coach travel, accommodation, meal and wage expenses. Please note the majority of competitions are subsidised, especially overnight and interstate competitions which are heavily subsidised. The levy only offsets against a portion of the Clubs coaching and judging costs.

Holiday Training

Students in the competitive programs who wish to continue training through the holidays can do so. During holiday periods we allow students to pick the sessions in which they wish to participate. Providing minimum numbers are met the class will operate. The fee for holiday training is a flat rate of $9.35 per hour (inc gst).
